Why do Women naturally lean their head on their Mans chest when sleeping, is it a natural female instinct?

people do this?really?i thought it was a soap opera pose !!!! i find this annoying and uncomfortable.Why do Women naturally lean their head on their Mans chest when sleeping, is it a natural female instinct?
by doing so we feel protection and peaceWhy do Women naturally lean their head on their Mans chest when sleeping, is it a natural female instinct?
Because it is very relaxing. Listening to the heartbeat and feeling the warmth and closeness is reassuring. (Also the man usually has to put his arm around you when you do this.) You know, the same way you guys fake yawning and stretching to get your arms around your girl. Cuddling and snuggling are just plain nice.
i can't stand doing this while sleeping, but it is comfy when we are laying together watching tv or cuddling. it is like a really long hug. it feels good to be held close by my husband.
Maybe not on his chest, but under his arm. It is very comforting and relaxing. I find it a natural thing to do. It fosters closeness and tenderness.
Its definitely a social meme. (I feministically say, If it is innate then we have a problem.)
Prefer to just lay my head on his arm. It's more conferable. I can't sleep with my ';pillow'; moving up and down, making strange noises, and going thump thump in my ear all night. His arm is quit, doesn't move, and there are no strange noises.
definitely the protector thing, though it goes for both women and men....i cuddle against my boyfriend's chest and vice versa
Which women? I would find this extremely uncomfortable.
well, I don't! I like my space, I'm kinda clausterphobic. Also, my neck and back would start to hurt after a while.
Yes. It's part of the ';male protector'; thing.

Can I mix Clairol Complements Color Intensifier with Clairol Natural Instincts?

I was wondering if it would work (and not cook my hair) if I mixed some Clairol Complements Color Intensifier with Natural Instincts? I wanted to mix the violet intensifier with Natural Instincts Egyptian Plum (I don't think it's purple enough!) Anyone know if it would mix okay? I'm torn between this and my usual semi-permanent route.Can I mix Clairol Complements Color Intensifier with Clairol Natural Instincts?
yes you can because there both from the same bramd, they often say on the boxes and the website if you want a differnt shade mix two togther, but they have to be from the same family. for instance if you were dying your hair blonde you could mix two ash shades but not an ash and a gold shade becuase that would give weird results, if there in the same colour family its fine xx

Does Clairol natural instincts come in permanent?

A few weeks ago, I dyed my hair using Clairol Natural Instincts #20 Hazelnut and I LOVED it. But now, it is quickly fading out, and instead of continually re-dying my hair with this, I am trying to find a permanent color that is exactly or close to this color. Any help?Does Clairol natural instincts come in permanent?
It is a rich medium brown, I use the International Colour Coding system and the equivalent is 7/0. If you have a Wella stockist, tints with this number on will be a fair match. The 7 means medium brown base and any numbers after the / will be the tone you will get.

Hope this helpsDoes Clairol natural instincts come in permanent?
Yes. They have permanent dyes.

If I go brunette using natural instincts, will it all wash out eventually?

I'm a natural blonde. Not bleach blonde or dirty blonde, just blonde. Haha, you get me? And I was wondering if I tried Natural Instincts hair dye to go brunette, would it 1) make it look pretty real/decent instead of fake and a faded brunette, and 2) will the dye wash out completely just like the other colors have, or will it leave a darker tint that I have to grow out?If I go brunette using natural instincts, will it all wash out eventually?
yes it will look real and decent and should all wash out in time

Can you change your own natural instincts?

Think of maternal, territorial, reactions to aggression or even sexual instincts?Can you change your own natural instincts?
What you call instincts are largely determined by socialization. Not every woman should be a mother. Some people are more, or less, territorial than others. Aggression levels vary widely -- as do sex drives.

Personal change is a choice. You can change how you perceive a situation; and how you choose to react.Can you change your own natural instincts?
Yes, but like anything it takes a lot of time and effort, and there are slips.

It also is dependent on the choice. If you really really wanted to not be that way.

Point in case: I am a 19 year old male who is tall and handsome, and yet still a virgin BY CHOICE. I have been offered many times, so I would say I have a moderate control of my sexual instinct.
not change but CONTROL is the thing we can do, CONTROL it when reqd for the best outcome
i think you can supress them for a while at the most. i know i'll love my kids, i'll protect them, if someone try's to hurt them i will attack and the only one i have sexual urges for is my fianc'e. if you asked me to change any of these instincts i have i couldnt. so my final answer is no.

  • Is having a free market like playing football without refs? Isn't man's natural instinct to cheat to win?

    I'm a liberal democrat who generally supports free markets. After all, they are the basis of our economy and our American way of life.

    But we have got to have at least a little more regulation over the market than we had the last 8 years - look what George W. Bush's ';hands-off, no government regulation'; policy has gotten us.Is having a free market like playing football without refs? Isn't man's natural instinct to cheat to win?
    who defines what is ';fair play'; and what isn't?

    any refs, of any stripe, flavour, or colour, from any government organized by any people will inherently have different interpretations of what is ';fair'; from any other set of refs.

    When pretty much equal in power parties come together to do deals, the free market they create works quite well.

    The devil seems to get involved when one party has little or no power relative to the other -- then we claim ';unfair'; and create rules and regulations through the power of government.

    So which deals that you and yours were in were ';unfair'; to you and ';need'; regulation?Is having a free market like playing football without refs? Isn't man's natural instinct to cheat to win?
    No, it's playing football with refs who don't have money on the game.

    Govt should be the referee.

    It just shouldn't be the owner or the coach.

    Has anyone ever used Clairol Natural Instincts for a long period of time?

    I have been using Clairol Natural Instincts for about 15 years and I'm 45 with absolutely NO gray hair. Yes, not a one. A few months ago I did find 3 on top of my head and yanked them out, never to see another one again. My whole family has them, including my brother , who has had them for years, and my sister, who is 44, and has a head full and also has had them for years. Not that I'm complaining, but not to have any and I'm turning 46 next month. The running joke around here is that one day I'll wake up and be totally white. And it's not that I never have stress either. I am a recovering addict, bi-polar, anxiety disorder and depression. Go figure. The only thing that I've done differently from other people is use Clairol Natural Instincts every 2 months for 15 years. It is not a permanent dye, it washes out every 28 days. So either I found another use for this product or I have something special in my body. Believe me, I search every day for grays. Has anyone else had this happen?Has anyone ever used Clairol Natural Instincts for a long period of time?
    first of all don't pluck your grays because then they just come back more in the long run. my mom also has been using the Clairol natural instincts for a long time also. things is though everyone gets grays. i have one in the back of my head and i am pretty young. a friend of mine has plenty and she is younger than me. yes grays can be caused by stress, but sometimes they are not. what can we do, our body functions this way. maybe you should get some dye that is similar to your hair color and just dye the area that has grays. also maybe since you have used this product for so long, its time to change it up. sometimes peoples body can get use to the stuff we use, therefore it doesn't work as efficient as before.Has anyone ever used Clairol Natural Instincts for a long period of time?
    i guess you should consider yourself blessed, but you keep color in your hair r4egardless, so what's the problem?

    Has anyone with medium/dark brown hair dyed their hair with Natural Instincts Cinnabery?

    Or any other of the red shades. I want a darker auburn color, but dont want it to be almost black. I am thinking of trying Cinnaberry but am wondering how red it gets. Any other shade suggestions? Thanks!Has anyone with medium/dark brown hair dyed their hair with Natural Instincts Cinnabery?
    Iused that color on my medium brown hair. It turned my hair to a burgundy color.

    Now i look on the sides of the box and it will tell you..and show you what your hair will look like for different hair colors.

    I got the best darker auburn color from using a blonde color, believe it or not!

    good luck..just remember. It will grow out. And if not soon enough, try using a green hair shampoo...such as Prell. That will remove the color faster. I learned that from my regular hair dresser.

    Is Xenophobia a natural human instinct?

    Yes, in my opinion:

    To look at this matter realistically and not idealistically one must just accept that man has used tools to kill, in groups, i.e. packs, for at least 100,000 years. We are predatory and are not pacifists by nature. Killing other animals and even other humans is what we do, have done and most likely will continue to do, no matter what moralizing the peace, love, and microdot crowd wish to spew forth.

    I believe that as men are predators we have a pack instinct, just like wolves, or any other pack predator. It is not evil or wrong; it just is a condition of the human existence that we ignore to our peril.

    As such man will naturally be adverse to those outside of The Pack, just as any other pack animal. This is just a function of survival. Exclusivity is the key to survival in a preindustrialized world and man has only spent what...10,000 years of being above the level of the animal kingdom, in regards to base survival in any greatly distinctive manner--mainly the ability to surplus extra food so as to ensure survival and growth of the packs, ie. Races. Those instincts served us for 10 times that amount of time.

    To call this hate is not to understand the valuable survival edge that shunning others can have in a bloody tooth and claw world, a world all of our ancestors survived through and bequeathed to us our genetics. And in the end survival and breeding is the key to all things in this world.

    It may perhaps be fear, but that disregards that fact that normally a person, or group of persons is not so much afraid of the outsider(s) as such but of what they will lose to that outsider(s): Land, food, and mates.

    What you call Xenophobia, I call the natural urge to defend: Land, food, young, and mates from any outside different type of pack.Is Xenophobia a natural human instinct?
    Although any given individual may be xenophobic,

    Xenophobia is only common in certain parts of the world.

    I think xenophobia is a rational cultural reaction, not human instinct.

    I think it has to do with cultural rather than biological evolution.

    Historically, in most parts of the world, human population levels were sparse. In places like the fertile cresent, the Indus, and Yelow River Valleys, they have been relatively very crowded for thousands of years.

    In Australia or North America or the high Arctic the cultures were very trusting and open and accepting because cooperative efforts were needed to survive. This served them well as long as nature was the enemy. it did not help them against unscrupulous newcomers.

    A stranger was considered a boon becasue they were novel, had new stories and knowledge and were able to help out.

    In the earliest cultures, especially in Mesopotamia, material wealth developed early and the temptation to steal land or belongings was great. The original Mesopotamians for example, were probably quite accepting of strangers until one of the many war-like aggressive tribes came in and either enslaved or destroyed them. By virtue of geography, the list of constant aggressive nomadic peoples is almost limitless there.

    In that part of the world, cultures who trusted strangers were systematically destroyed, while aggressive ones won out. Each group held to its own for practical reasons of survival.

    Cultures there developed elaborate rationalizations for feuds, aggression, insults and even religion. The dominant religion there has its genesis in one band of warriors pillaging and stealing from non believers and then justifying or rationalizing this by calling them infidels and heretics.

    This is less an intrinsic quality of the religion, because it simply plays to the already existing xenophobic tendencies in that region.

    In places where there is no threat of violence, theft or subjegation, people revert to their natural state of welcoming strangers and trying to make them feel comfortable.

    Unfortunately, there are still places in the world where that kind of trust will get a person killed.

    Fortunately I live in a place where xenophobia is uncommon, but problems arise when people come from regions with cultural prejudices/xenophobia and import those tendencies here.

    rotorhead--best laugh I have had in a couple of days!Is Xenophobia a natural human instinct?
    Yes.

    Instincts can be overcome by reason, however.
    Yes. And that is why the snakes bite us. They are afraid. That is why the terrorists bomb.
    why would it be?...because the person whose having this instinct belongs to some race/culture/heritage/color...as well...so THINK ABOUT IT...before having your little phobia attacks...pffttttt!
    FANTASTIC answer, aka DarthDad
    yes
    by definition.... no. I would argue that most people who use that word do not know or understand its true meaning. However, it is true that some people do fear all foreigners
    Naw, I like Lucy Lawless.
    NO!!! It is family, society, religion, government and environment that infests an individual with xenophobia. Greed and fear are it's greatest motivators. Nature does not make such distinctions.
    Yes, particularly among the primitives. Amazonian Indians have been know to kill strangers on site. Islamics believe they need to force conformity in order to provide security. In the US, the most racially, ethnically, and culturally diverse nation on earth, progress has been made, but we still have a ways to go
    it's certainly a Zionist one
    Sadly yes, people fear that in which they do not know or understand. It's like walking into a dark room, you don't just run in and through a dark room, you cautiously and slowly walk through the room, looking for a light switch. So it is natural to feel that way at first, but in no regards is xenophobia an excuse for racism and bigotry. Those conditions are faults of the individual who does not take the time to learn more about those who are different than themselves.

    GUYS, is it a natural instinct to look at a girls butt?

    the question came up in a conversation earlier haha were just curious? and what does a girl do to make you like her?GUYS, is it a natural instinct to look at a girls butt?
    Definitely!! But its a combination of a lot of thingsGUYS, is it a natural instinct to look at a girls butt?
    Yes, especially if she wiggles it in a really sexy way. A girl can be nice to a guy, touch him, make him feel special, listen to him, agree with him, brush her boobs against him - you get the picture.
    Always, it's like second nature. I think you get trained when your married not to or at least you have to be sneakier with it.
    If she is walking away and is cute, yes.

    Is forgiveness a learned skill, natural instinct, or inspired?

    I'm trying to trace the origens of this phenomenon, much in the same way the Bible traces the origen of sin back to Eden. Starting with the assumption that forgiveness is possible and reasoning inductively. I can find references to remission of sins, and debts, but they all imply some form of symbolic payment, or indemnity. But I can't seem to trace the concept of undeserved forgivenes back farther than about two thousand years.

    If it was a natural instinct, I would expect to find a word in natural languages . If it is inspired, is it a skill that can be taught in books?Is forgiveness a learned skill, natural instinct, or inspired?
    ~~~ DD ,,,, In all seriousness,,,, It is ';learned'; by following one's ';natural instinct'; to be ';inspired'; by conducting Acts of Grace,,,, like Compassion and Altruism, etc, etc,,,, It can only be ';found'; through Introspection and Contemplation,,,Is forgiveness a learned skill, natural instinct, or inspired?
    read John 3:16 .GOD sent his son JESUS so when we believe in JESUS we have eternal life.JESUS gave up his life as a sacrifice so we can be sin free. Ask JESUS to come into your heart and forgive ur sins and cleanse ur past with his blood. Report Abuse
    With a simple prayer like above u can be saved.JESUS loves u and wants u to be saved.What JESUS did is undeserved forgiveness.he did paid the penaly of sin as required.But still he could have choose not to.He could have just stayed in heaven.But he didnt.He came so we can be saved. Report Abuse
    Small children can fight one minute and be friends the next..Given a very short time they even forget they fought. Why, because they don't dwell on the past. Though they don't know what forgiveness is, it's natural to let it go and move on. As they get older, they hold onto the past, dwell on it, associate emotions to it and forgiveness becomes an issue. True forgiveness is to forgive and forget...Small children do this naturally, without knowing why.
    I can tell this is going to be one of those bias ';research'; projects.... You can trace sin back to Eden, eh? ...and you're willing to accept the possibility of ';inspired forgivness'; ....
    Gosh...
    [][][] r u randy? [][][]
    .
    I believe that it can be related to all 3 of your supositions, it depends on the motivation. For an individual, the ability to forgive someone, even if they don't deserve it or desire it, allows the forgiver freedom and closure from the event. It allows a person to move on and represents a point they reached where they decided to not hold onto baggage or allow the acts of others to have an influence on their lives. It is about personal empowerment and therefore it can be learned, it may be instinctual (to enable closure) or it may also be inspired by someone else's demonstrated forgiveness and the change it made in their lives. - good question!
    I beleive it's a learned skill.
    I believe that forgiveness is inspired. I don't think it comes naturally to the human animal. We are more likely to hold a grudge, and try to get even, aren't we?
    I don't think it is a skill that can be learned from a book, either...no not even the Bible. Oh, we can learn to say ';I forgive you';, and if it is someone we are emotionally attached to, mainly, family members, we might even mean it. Well, sort of, anyhow. I have lost count of the numbers of people I have heard saying how they will NEVER forgive their parents, and in some cases, I can understand their difficulty. But for the most part, forgiveness is not really a skill that can be learned.
    I honestly think that people need God's help with forgiveness.
    Most people, I think, would be totally amazed at the difference it makes in their own lives when they can find the grace to forgive. It truly is as if a great weight is lifted from your heart.
    God bless you!
    Before you can forgive, you must be forgiven first. Since God through Christ has pardon your sins and faults, through His grace you can forgive others. As long as you walk close to Christ, you can easily forgive coz pride and unforgiveness will bring damnation to the soul.
    forgiveness is a natural instinct..(even animals get angry and forgive believe it or not)...BUT even though it is a natural instinctive behavior for us humans we can modify them by learning how to do it better.....and by showing forgiveness we trigger other peoples forgiveness instinct thus, in a way it can also be considered as an inspired skill.....some people shut their instincts and need a reminder...
    p.s i hope this helps but if u know the fude that happened between the two sons of Adam then u would find that the son that was killed by his brother used to forgive his brother ...he forgave his brother when he cursed him right??!!
    OK then good luck...hope i helped
    When do Dogs get natural instincts to do something? Thats in their nature?
    Well basically im wondering if a dog has to be a certain age for his natural instincts?
    When do Dogs get natural instincts to do something? Thats in their nature?
    Their natural instincts kick in once they hit the world. There first natural instinct is to breathe, second is to drink milk from the mother and so on. So pretty much their natural instinct is always there
    When do Dogs get natural instincts to do something? Thats in their nature?
    All instincts are born in all living things. Humans and animals . Instincts are not learned. I have had puppies that don't even have their eyes open growl at me, just be cause it didn't recognize me .
    Your puppy goes through two fear stages. It then goes through teenage years. I would say 2 - 3yrs of age.
    yes like i know this might be sick but hey its an example
    Humping starts when they get to be about 2 or older
    Is it natural for some women to not have a motherly instinct?
    I've seen stories on TV about animals in the wild. Some of them will give birth and want absolutely nothing to do with them. With some types of animals, a member of the pack will take on the role, and if its not natural for them... the baby will be completely abandoned.
    I know male humans are the only ';species'; with a fatherly instinct. Does that make motherly instincts different for humans?
    I myself, have never wanted a child, and seem to lack that ';motherly'; instinct. I end up being the ';friend'; of children, and even with 3lb little puppies I end up doing the ';friend'; role. I don't know how to mother, and I have no interest in being motherly.
    Is that normal??? or is that due to upbringing??Is it natural for some women to not have a motherly instinct?
    I think so. I believe that one of the main reasons that most women want to have kids so badly is not because of genetics (although that contributes) but because of social norms. There is a lot of pressure out there for people (especially women) to have kids. Little girls are given dolls to play with, when you are older, people ask you when you are going to have a kid. There are just so many subtle hints that society gives women about their requirement to have children.
    I am in my 20's and the last thing i want is a kid. Even though i am a guy, i get pressured about this idea too. If you don't feel like having kids, then good for you. I am sure you will make some guy very happy and i am 100% serious.Is it natural for some women to not have a motherly instinct?
    Some women don't have a strong maternal instinct, while others only develop it later in life. But I did want to point out that humans are NOT the only species with a fathers instinct. Emperor Penguins, meerkats, wolves, cats and other species all have those instincts. In fact, if you watch March of the Penguins you will see that the male penguin cares for the egg while the females are gone. It will hatch and get it's first meal from the father while mom is off swimming and eating without them. The male sandpiper raises his nest full of eggs completely without the help of the female. She lays the eggs and then takes off to find another male.
    Our feline rescue group actually has a male cat named Errol that has such a screwed up system from his instincts that he has managed to produce milk and actually nurse several litters of abandoned kittens. He has the strongest ';mommy'; instincts of any cat I've met! And, yes, he is a male, although neutered.
    Has anyone used clairol natural instincts hair color?
    I usually had my hair highlighted at a salon, but I would like to try to color my hair on my own. I bought a box of non-permanent color and I was wondering if anyone had problem with them looking unnatural. And also was it hard to do. My husband will be appling it to my hair-he has colored his hair and it always turned out good-so I think he could do my hair fine. Just not sure how well it works. Thanks.Has anyone used clairol natural instincts hair color?
    I always use this brand. It doesn't smell, and my hair always comes out so clean and soft. It doesn't really change your color too much; just enhances it and gives it shine. Plus, they give you extra of their conditioner so you can use it once a week for the rest of the month. For some reason, those conditioners that come with the hair dyes are always the best! And it's non-permanent in case you don't like it.Has anyone used clairol natural instincts hair color?
    I have been coloring my hair for several years, and my favorite brand is Loreal. Yes, you can get salon looking hair color from some of the retail colors.
    It is not hard to color your hair. You can definitely do it yourself. Though, if you have very long hair, you may need help. Do your have hair clips? It is good to have a few just to loosely lift the hair up while the color is ';setting';.
    I've used Natural Instinct before. It won't last as long as the permanent colors. If you are going lighter, you should just go a couple shades lighter.
    So are you trying to highlight your hair, or just dye it all over? Just in case you didn't know, demi/semi-permanent dye can't lift color. Always avoid box dyes because the results are always horrible, go to a real beauty supply, such as Sally Beauty. If I were you, you should return it, and buy a better dye that doesn't come in a box.
    hey! i just colored my hair the other night with that same product, and i usually have my hair highlighted at a salon but it worked great! and it definately looks natural, go for it!
    no i use it and it's great.. my hair always turns out feeling better than it did before I colored. It's easy too. But just don't color too soon after you had it highlighted.
    It works fine. I used it several times.
    it works great! it's a great brand... i always use this one to do my hair... always
    Can i use clairol natural instincts hair dye to highlight my hair?
    natural instincts is to dye all of your hair but can i use it to just highlight my hair?Can i use clairol natural instincts hair dye to highlight my hair?
    What color is your hair now. If it is brown or dark, it will highlight your hair to a reddish color. the hair has 7 shades to lift before it is blond, and this tint will not be strong enough to do the job of making it blond.
    Check out your Beauty Supply in your area and see if they have a high lift one step product there for you. I do know that Clairol does have one, but can only be bought there.
    Is it possible to be born without “natural instincts”?
    Consider this...
    Most people agree that there are certain things that we know the day we are born without ever having been taught them? Take for example the “fight or flight” instinct in which someone in danger naturally will know (and thus have to decide) either to defend themselves or flee. However, do you think it is possible for someone to be born completely without this automatic knowledge at all?Is it possible to be born without “natural instincts”?
    noIs it possible to be born without “natural instincts”?
    Curiously enough, it could easily be argued that there are a number of people lacking one or another instinct. Asperger's folks don't have a connection to emotionality. Some people have no apparent sexual drive. And feral children quickly lose their instinct for language and never regain it. Report Abuse
    Though most people don't realize it, they are often subject to DOZENS of instincts. A few examples:
    Though you have undoubtedly controlled your responses more strictly now, babies instinctively grab on to things with their hands and lift a foot when you touch it and push the other one down. Even now, it probably feels strangely good to hold a tool in your hand. It is instinct that taught you to walk and use tools.
    You may not have thought about it, but consider that virtually every human language is constructed in more or less the same way. Nouns. Verbs. Syllables. Words. And babies automatically listen and try to repeat sounds they hear. None of this MUST be so. It is instinct that taught you language.
    So where would a person be with no desire to manipulate things or with no intrinsic ability to understand what is said? Or perhaps no innate interest in sex or fear of common dangers? With little doubt, such a person would be alone, dead, and shortly extinct.
    I don't think it is possible. All of us have basic instincts that r embedded in us, which r one of the defining factors of a species. Like, if u put 2 people of opposite sex in a deserted island, from an early age, eventually they will have sex having no prier knowledge of it. It was in their natural instincts. It is not possible to b born without them I think.
    I don't know you got me thinking. I say the person would just know what to do. So my answer is no.
    Yes. The flight or fight instinct is biological in origin. Specifically, it is the discharge of adrenaline into the blood stream. If something occurs with the biological mechanism and it does not function, the person would be without fear, but could only give minimum resistance as adrenaline is necessary for aggression also.
    while i have to say no to being born with natural insticts, i do believethat those natur instincts can be silenced. for example, we find that our human instict may tell us that it is wrong to kill a human but it happens everyday. a horrific but good example of this is ww2 and the nazi's their human instinct of equality was tarnished by hitlers propogandy and lies. you think to yourself, how could the nazi's have done this to the jews and the anser is simple. their natural insticts were destroyed.
    Yes! Babies, they don't '; fight or flight';
    As humans, is our only true natural instinct to wage war????
    well....? it seems so.....care to elaborate.........????As humans, is our only true natural instinct to wage war????
    yes we are an aggressive species. In the days before laws and developed countries only the strongest and the fittest survived.As humans, is our only true natural instinct to wage war????
    Yes, I think so. Tons of other species including primates do use war and battles to settle their problems. Until we learn from our mistakes and think above instinct, there will never be peace.
    A specie can be both violent and a lover. Look at Bonobo Chimps. They are the horniest creatures ever, closest relative to humans (which means they have many of the same emotional needs), and they can still be very violent.
    yea, it makes sense to just wage war all the time. That's the only natural instinct i have
    just ignore that entire instinct of wanting to have sex like 7 times a day
    and the instinct to take a dump
    and the instinct to eat and drink
    yea, that's my only true natural instinct. Of course waging war is a natural instinct, whether it be with ourselves, or someone else, or even something that doesn't exist. That's what keeps the human race on top. Our constant competition. Look at any war, and you will see that many technological advancements come from war. Usually these advancements are for militarily purposes, but such things as the internet, can be put into commercial use.
    War is not an instinct, its a solution to one of our instincts
    no, it's actually to share love
    i know that sounds wrong and strange because looking around the world today, there is everything but love
    but if you come to think of it on a small scale you would
    understand what i mean. when you are walking down the street and ytou bump into someone, on a normal day your first instincts are to appologise. you might call this politeness, however what brings on the urge to appologise to this stranger you have never seen and most like would never see, is love.
    hey hey sha la la hey hey sha la la....who's gonna ride you're wild horses? who's gonna drown in your blue sea?
    anyways.
    no.
    our natural instincts are:
    eat, sleep, fight-or-flight, breathe, procreate, and the like.
    .....
    think of animals. are they raging war?? no. are they fighting for territory? yes. all the time. that's what we're doing sometimes. other times it's fighting for ideals. which animals can't really do...haha
    If you consider how may people there are in the world then the level of conflict is pretty low. Everybody is different One instinct we have is for survival war could be a side effect however this is not true for all.
    Well, I'm reading Lord of the Flies at the moment, so yeah it does. But generally, I've never felt a need to declare a war on another country, it must just be the boys in power that like to do that!
    i do care to elaborate... its not our only natural instinct... our only natural instinct is to reproduce... so they can wage war... and ... ... ... reproduce... ... and so on and so on
    no. we humans mostly like makin bakin.we make war because some other ahole wants to put his meat inyour frying pan.why is a woman like a frying pan? because you gotta get her hot before you stick the meat in!!
    No,human nature is essentially the opposite.It is the conditions we find ourselves in which bring about wars,whereby we are mistaken into feeling fear and that there is no choice.there is always choice
    no, war isn't an instinct, fighting is, (fight or flight, pretty much our only instinct) but not tactical warfare...
    WAR is big business in some countries like the USA .Where do your think their economy would be if the world was at peace.
    it appears that way..people are so worried I think, survival of the fittest and all that..
    No,I really enjoy peace and quiet actually :-)
    Nope I enjoy it being nice and peacefull
    no
    not all of ours!
    Is there a temporary/wash out hair dye that washes out quicker than Natural Instincts?
    I want to temporarily dye my hair light auburn/ red for this cosplay/costume thingy I'm going to this month. But I don't want to have red hair for a whole month (and run the risk of it not coming out all the way and it looking terrible). I'd like it to be gone in a couple days. Are there any products that I could use that would wash out fairly fast?Is there a temporary/wash out hair dye that washes out quicker than Natural Instincts?
    You can buy like very temporary dye at WALMART.
    i think it is in a pink bottle called fanci-full..
    anyway, i think it only last through like 3 shampoos lol...
    please answer mine
  • Do you shampoo your hair in between using Clairol Born Blonde and Natural Instincts hair color?
    I am using Clairol Born Blonde (not the professional one) and it says at the end to shampoo your hair and then follow the directions that come with the Clairol Natural Instincts hair color (they recommend to use that). The directions in the hair color say not to shampoo your hair first and apply it to wet hair. So do you shampoo in between them or not?Do you shampoo your hair in between using Clairol Born Blonde and Natural Instincts hair color?
    The idea behind not shampooing your hair before dying it is to use the natural oils in your hair is largely to protect your scalp from being burned during the dying process. I would not shampoo it.Do you shampoo your hair in between using Clairol Born Blonde and Natural Instincts hair color?
    no don't shampoo until its completely finished...or just condition it and leave it on for 30mins !
    Is Natural Instincts by Clairol actually good for your hair?
    The commericial says it makes your hair look healthier after every use. Is this true? Or just marketing?
    It's semi permanent dye btw.
    So... is it healthy for your hair?Is Natural Instincts by Clairol actually good for your hair?
    Semi-permanent hair color is good for your hair because it doesn't penetrate into the hair cuticle, thus it doesn't damage. However, I would suggest you buy semi-permanent color from a beauty supply store. You never know what is in the store bought products.
    Hope that helps ya!Is Natural Instincts by Clairol actually good for your hair?
    Notice how they said it would ';look healthier'; but they didn't say it would ';be healthier';?
    Yesterday i dyed my hair with clairol natural instincts i want to know if i can dye it again today?
    I am a naturaly blonde female. i dyed my hair yesterday from my some what light/dirty blonde to the clairol natural instincts hair dye suede light brown. it kind of came out more of a diry blonde. So i want to go darker! i was wondering, can i re-dye my hair with the clairol natural instincts hazelnut medium brown today? or will it damage my hair, or not work right? please help a.s.a.p!Yesterday i dyed my hair with clairol natural instincts i want to know if i can dye it again today?
    Can you stand to wait a couple of days? That would be best for your hair. Waiting will give your hair a break. If you really can't stand your hair right now go ahead %26amp; do it but be preparred to put a deep conditioner on it once a week for 30 min. to help it recover quickly. Oh, btw, you run the risk of it turning out too dark this time. Layering color on top of color makes the results turn out a little more unpredictable.Yesterday i dyed my hair with clairol natural instincts i want to know if i can dye it again today?
    i would wait tell later tonight.......it works better on dirty hair, because its not as clean and the dye has something to cling on to, but your hair shall be fine, remember that bleach is more harmful to hair then brown hair dye.so good luck with it./...but your hair will be fine..i bleached my hair 5 times in one day cus i died my hair dark brown and i hated it and kept bleaching it tell it was blonde........and my hair is fine...good luck
    My advice...DON'T DYE IT AGAIN!
    your hair might become brittle and dry from the chemicals.
    Wait a couple of weeks and try dying it again.
    Let the other color strip from your hair before you dye it again =)
    Yes, it's fine...Color reacts the same wether you Color it today, or a week from now.
    im not sure...the best thing to do would be, ask your hairstylist.
    How bad is Natural Instincts dye for you hair?
    Does it fry it, or is it really not too bad?How bad is Natural Instincts dye for you hair?
    Natural Instincts is fine, I've never had any problems with it.
    You'll be safe with any brands in your supermarket, the only problems I've ever had with hair dye is when I bleached my hair.
    If you're very worried about your hair though, manic panic actually heals your hair while it dyes it, although it doesn't work as well for natural colors.How bad is Natural Instincts dye for you hair?
    i've never heard that it's that bad. i would try a natural dye, though, something organic =D
    Anyone who has used clairol natural instinct hair dye in...?
    18RGGolden Mahogany
    What did you think of it?
    How do you personaly best describe the color?
    How long did it stay in before fading?
    Worth the purchase or not?
    Does it go on darker then what it looks like on the box?Anyone who has used clairol natural instinct hair dye in...?
    I have not used that specific shade of that brand, but I've used countless ones before.
    Clairol Natural Instinct Hair dye is pretty good, it's not the best I've used but not bad at all. If you want to dye your hair with it, go for it. :)
    With the conditioner that came in the box, it left my hair smooth and smelling nice.
    The color comes close to the shades on the box, but it really depends on the hair color you have (how light or dark it is, etc.) My hair is more on the darker side, therefore when I went to try a light brown, it went more like medium brown.
    It was worth the purchase. Like I said, not the best, not the worst. It was 4.2/5. haha (And 5 being perfect)
    Hope this helped you a bit. %26lt;3
    Is it impossible to get an animal to eliminate its natural instincts?
    Would it be impossible for a person to get tigers or bears to eliminate their natural instincts? It goes with all other animal species, and not just tigers/bears.
    For example, tigers attack other prey or us. It doesn't matter how well the animals are treated and taken care of.
    If not possible, then explain how?Is it impossible to get an animal to eliminate its natural instincts?
    You can train animals to behave as they have been trained by humans instead of responding to instinct, but there's a limit.
    Dogs can be trained to leave cats alone even though they are instinctively going to want to chase them. Dogs can be trained to walk on their front legs even though they instinctively want to use all four legs. Dogs are extremely trainable, which is why they make such good pets.
    Cats, on the other hand, are more difficult to train, which matters little with housecats but matters LOTS with the great cats. Look at Siegfried and Roy--they were terrific trainers, but the tiger who bit Roy responded to instinct (after years of following its human training) in a near-fatal fashion.
    Humans are probably savages instinctively, but we are taught by our parents and society to behave in a certain way and most of us comply.
    Training is overcoming instinct, but it isn't ELIMINATING it. You don't eliminate that with which an animal is born through training, you just cover it up.Is it impossible to get an animal to eliminate its natural instincts?
    Why.....would we want to do this??? Are we trying to make them human? First of all, tigers, bears, etc, DO NOT prey on us. We kill far, far more of them than they do to us that the comparison is really quite obscene. We as a society have absolutely no tolerance for the very rare fatality caused by these animals. On the average for example, one person per year is killed by a black/grizzly bear, and we slaughter many thousands. Your odds of being killed even visiting a national park where there are many of them is comparable to winning the lottery, i.e one out of millions. Maybe your question should be why can't we coexist more peacefully with these great animals, and not slaughter them wholesale and take away their habitats until there is nothing left, for fear, that someone out of millions may die from them sometime. You are many many times safer in the woods with bears, etc, than you would be walking down a street of the average large city at night.
    Bottom line is: even if we could eliminate their natural instincts, what is the creature then? Is it still a tiger or bear? Arent instincts an innate part of the bear/tiger's true identity?
    This very question was asked and answered in a lab in Japan. The researchers there have developed a strain of mice that have no fear of cats. They created a defect in the mouse so that its brain has no receptor for the odor of cat. The cat smell is what a normal mouse reacts to and is afraid of. These modified mice essentially cannot smell cat so it does not respond in the normal fashion. This animal, through genetic manipulation, has had its natural instinct to be afraid of cats eliminated.
    It is not possible in my opinion, nor should it be attempted. It would be cruel. Maybe you should lose yours and start eating live flesh and walking on all fours. Could you get used to that?
    No i dont believe it is possible. In a way we are animals, and years and years later we still have our natural instincts complete as they were when our race began. Instincts like ';fight or flight'; and fear are necessary for our survival, so i do not think they will ever dissapear completely or even partially. If we had no instincts, society would bifurcate into a place of chaos and the human race would suffer. The same goes for any living animal, their instincts are there for them to survive, and without them they would not be able to.
    The reason lions attack us is because of fear, but also because they need to eat. The need to eat is an instinct, if you have ever seen an animal with hydrophobia (rabies), some of its insticts are gone and eventually it dies.
    %26gt; get an animal to eliminate its natural instincts?
    To a certain extent, through long term selective breeding. This is why your pet dog isn't totally like a wolf, behaviorally.
    its like the collars that they put on dogs to stop barking. every time they bark, they get electrocuted.
    do the collars work? look it up.
    by looking it up youll find many other people that have asked your same question and many articles, which im sure one could satisfy your question 100%
    How long does it take the clairol natural instincts color to fade if it is darker than my natural hair color?
    i just died my hair dark brown when it was medium brown, and i really don't like it. how long would it take for the color to completely fade back to my natural color?
    and when they say 28 washes, does that mean if i wash my hair twice in every shower it will only take 14 showers?How long does it take the clairol natural instincts color to fade if it is darker than my natural hair color?
    Truthfully, it depends on a number of things.
    Sunlight helps lighten dyed hair, and then washing is definitely the number one thing that lightens dyed hair.
    Dark-meduim brown is not that big of a step, so you should be back to your original hair colour within a couple of months, tops.
    But remember: Your hair isn't going to go to its 100% natural colour again, until it grows out and you cut off the dyed hair.
    The dye will fade and wash outas much as it can, but you will still have dye on your hair until it is cut.
    Good luck!How long does it take the clairol natural instincts color to fade if it is darker than my natural hair color?
    Sorry... But anytime you dye ur hair darker than ur natural color its not gonna fade completely back for months, but it will get really close, you just gotta wait it out tho.. It wont take to long to get better to, especially cuz that's natural hair color, i used to use it to dye my hair redish brown... it would take about a month to fade out really good..
    And pleasedon'tt wash your hair twice a day, its day to even wash ur hair everyday, washing your hair really dried it our, just use a shampoo and conditionerrthat aree not for color treated hair.. Spending some time in the sun will always her hair color fade too..
    What are some of the natural instincts humans have?
    I was very curious on what instincts humans have. Other that fight or flight, what are some specifics?What are some of the natural instincts humans have?
    Hello,
    To eat, to mate, to fear...
    Below a diect citation from wikipedia (link given in sources):
    ';In humans
    Some sociobiologists and ethologists have attempted to comprehend human and animal social behavior in terms of instincts. Psychoanalysts have stated that instinct refers to human motivational forces (such as sex and aggression), sometimes represented as life instinct and death instinct. This use of the term motivational forces has mainly been replaced by the term instinctual drives.
    Instincts in humans can also be seen in what are called instinctive reflexes. Reflexes, such as the Babinski Reflex (fanning of the toes when the foot is stroked), are seen in babies and are indicative of stages of development. These reflexes can truly be considered instinctive because they are generally free of environmental influences or conditioning.
    Additional human traits that have been looked at as instincts are: sleeping, altruism, disgust, face perception, language acquisitions, ';fight or flight'; and ';subjugate or be subjugated';. Some experiments in human and primate societies have also come to the conclusion that a sense of fairness could be considered instinctual, with humans and apes willing to harm their own interests in protesting unfair treatment of self or others.[1][2]
    Many scientists consider that it is instinctual in children to put everything in their mouths, because this is how they tell their immune system about the environment and the surroundings, what the immune system should adapt to.[3]
    Other sociologists argue that humans have no instincts, defining them as a ';complex pattern of behavior present in every specimen of a particular species, that is innate, and that cannot be overridden.'; Said sociologists argue that drives such as sex and hunger cannot be considered instincts, as they can be overridden. This definitory argument is present in many introductory sociology and biology textbooks,[4] but is still hotly debated.';
    Cheers,
    B.What are some of the natural instincts humans have?
    This is debated and every time someone comes up with a list, it gets shot down by some other expert. I would say, to communicate, be curious, to see beauty/ugliness, to share/help (at least a little), try to survive, for own children to be precious, to believe in a higher power (not everyone), to cover the body, to have some sense of right and wrong, to judge, to hope (has to do with survival), to look for improvements (not everyone), body functions, of course, are more than instinct but you could add sex here perhaps. Some of these overlap and there are some I may have forgotten.
    Eat, sleep, sexual stimulation, survival, etc.
    You can keep going on, but at some point, it becomes apparent that labeling specific behaviors as ';instincts'; makes it increasingly obvious that picking apart human behavior is misguided.
    Anger: natural instinct in mankind or artificial one?
    i want a well thought answerAnger: natural instinct in mankind or artificial one?
    I believe that anger is a natural instinct in mankind. Imagine if a member of your family was shot; you're first reaction is anger / revenge, it's so natural there is no conscious thought process involved - but after a while you are able to think and that initial anger and need for physical revenge subsides and is replaced by a methodical need for revenge ie: legal system, protect remaining family members etc.Anger: natural instinct in mankind or artificial one?
    I think it's totally natural all of us feel anger jealousy sadness happiness. It's just a very different emotion that could cause mostly bad things and make others loath you. But about the artificial part there are drugs that the psychiatrists give that have anger as a side effect. It really is so much different than the anger usually people know you see something else in a person who is on drugs with such a side effect. Really it's kinda freaking you out...
    Of course natural. Anger is actually good for you. Imagine if you didn't get angry? You would have everything bottled up and everyone would be explosive. It helps us be funcitonal human beings. And it's not like it occurs just in humans. Animals get enraged as well. Of course, it's less sophisticated and they rarely enact revenge, but still, it's natural just as laughter is natural to us.
    What's the difference between clairol natural instincts and clairol herbal essence?
    is there rlly a difference? are these products good...and is one better than the other in ur experience?
    which is prefered for hair COLOR?What's the difference between clairol natural instincts and clairol herbal essence?
    Natural Instincts is Semi-Permanent and Herbal Essences is Permanent. So, the semi lasts only 8-12 shampoos (depending upon your hair's porosity). The Permanent haircolor will permanently alter your natural color and will not wash out.
    If you haven't tried color before, go with Natural Instincts first. If you love it and want it to last longer, after you have tried semi, then you can switch to the permanent color.
    All Clairol products are suberb! It's the best selling haircolor out there. You should try the semi permanent (natural instincts) and then switch to permanent when you are really certain you love the color.
    How long will it take Natural Instincts hair dye to wash out?
    My friend has medium brown hair and she dyed it a dark reddish colour for a project. On the box it says not to wash your hair 24 hours after you have dyed your hair, for best results.
    She washed her hair many times a few hours after she dyed it with the natural instincts hair dye.
    Do you think that the dye will be easier to wash out because of this?
    And, from your experience, does your hair colour return to its natural shade?How long will it take Natural Instincts hair dye to wash out?
    It's stupid and nonsensical that they say not to wash your hair for 24 hours. You have to in order to stop the chemical processing. I imagine if your friend hadn't washed it, then it would have gotten much darker. This particular brand seems to fade quickly, but only in hue, not in tone.
    It won't ever return to the natural color. It will fade to a brassy dark brown though, and she should use a sulfate free shampoo and conditioner to keep the red looking nice. Color me sexy, or Organic sexy hair (sexy hair concepts) are both great lines that I use to keep my red lasting longer.How long will it take Natural Instincts hair dye to wash out?
    I personally have never used the product but have thought about it many times. My friend uses it she has brown hair and dyes it a dark brown color with the same product. I always notice her hair color never goes back to her natural color but it def fades. She dyes it every month to keep it the dark color.
    from my personal experience, it will fade but not wash out completely with a few washes.
    you will have to wait around a month and a half.
    it should fade and return to it's natural color by then.
    to speed up the process a bit, try using shampoo that is not ';color safe';.
    You could use colour oops which takes it out or go to a hair salon . It will probibly take 28 washes , use babyshampoo it naturally strips the hair gently taking out the colour .
    28 washes.
    the warmer the water the faster.
    it will fade over time though, not all at once.
  • Is it natural/normal for a woman to not have any maternal instinct?
    I notice that a lot of women here say that they have no maternal instinct.Is it natural/normal for a woman to not have any maternal instinct?
    Probably not normal (the norm), but if it occurs in nature then it is by definition natural.
    Many women only have maternal instinct once they become pregnant or have children of their own. Others only start feeling it once they approach their thirties or so.
    I sometimes think I have some maternal instinct when I see my nephews. Certainly before my brother had children I had none that I was aware of. So it could be a combination of age and interacting more with kids that I am related to. Strangers' kids don't have the same effect and babies do nothing for me at all.
    ';Trying to remove some of the guilt that they carry because they don't want to be mothers.';
    Why on earth would someone feel guilty about not wanting to be a mother?
    Edit
    ';it doesn't really make sense if you have no maternal or paternal instinct.';
    Guess what? Not everything that occurs in the natural world makes sense! There are all kinds of interesting quirks and things that happen for reasons we can't always explain.Is it natural/normal for a woman to not have any maternal instinct?
    A lot of women on here don't. Or don't believe in such.
    This really isn't the best section to ask this question. About half the women regulars on GWS are bisexual or bi-curious and most of them lean toward women. They objectify and find women arousing in some kind of way. It's funny that a lot them even identify as straight. Bisexual and lesbian women have always been the leaders of feminism and it seems true by all the half gay women on here. These aren't average women. Some of the straight women might stop in and answer your question. The other half of women on here really are straight. Also, it seems as if about half the men one here aren't 100% straight either. A lot of the male regulars have stated things like ';no one is 100% straight, or everyone is somewhat bisexual';. The other half of guys, like me, really are straight and we just laugh at them.
    With all the training from the lib movement and all the artificial stopping of baby having,,and for those who do have a child and hand it right over to someone else to raise because thats what their mom and the mom before that did...i would say that it is natural for our culture of today. Also quite a shame because motherhood is one of the most enjoyable parts of life. Some women have hang ups of one type or another that shut off the mental side of maternal instinct too. Also too bad for them and the joy they miss out on.
    I personally don't think so. But that's doesn't mean that lack of maternal/paternal instinct should be labeled 'wrong'....it is what it is. As long as they're able to recognize that, and not bring a child into the world that they'll have no maternal/paternal bond with, I don't see a problem.
    What REALLY doesn't make sense is bringing a child into this world that you can't/don't love.
    I have a strong nurturing streak, but not for being a Mother to a child.
    I'd say I'm as natural as anyone else, just not in the majority. Most people want kids, I get it.
    I've never wanted kids, and my parents are stellar, so have to say I'm not buying the theory that those of us who don't want kids are mindfucked.
    Most want them, some don't. Both seem natural in my view.
    I would say that many of us have no desire to be mothers. I wouldn't say that we lack maternal instinct; because when I'm around kids I automatically become protective and even act like their mother. But I in on rush to have children.
    I assume that it is normal for most people to have maternal or paternal instincts, because otherwise the human race would die out. But presumably for a certain number of people the lack of parental instincts is natural, for them anyway.
    I just LOVE this question!
    No, it isn't natural, but it may be normal.
    Feminists on here who say they don't have maternal instincts are either
    1. Trying to be men.
    2. Trying to remove some of the guilt that they carry because they don't want to be mothers.
    It's perfectly natural, though it's probably not normal. I personally don't want children but that's not to say I don't have ANY what-so-ever. I'm protective of my friends and family and my pets.
    I would say that it's within normal limits...i would also argue that admitting to yourself that you have no desire to have children is so much better than having children and resenting them your entire life.
    Everyone has the instinct to nurture. How someone actually acts is a different story. Maybe they just don't want to do it for whatever reason.
    sure. i bet there are plenty of guys out there with no paternal instinct, and they're not losing sleep over it. so it would only be natural that there would be female individuals with no maternal instinct either.
    http://answersinn.andrewglynn.info
    A very informative website, kindly stay a minute in website and check
    It's not normal or natural. But, it's not unheard of. It does happen, just rarely.
    It's natural for her, even if it makes her one of a very small percentage of women.
    Can we be truly content ,when it is our natural instinct to desire?
    maybe not, but maybe we can be content to know that we have the ability to desire. Not to settle or to stand still, to desire to want is not all bad. but to respect it as the motivation for the future... HEY i even like my answer. I was just going to tell you that this is a great question!Can we be truly content ,when it is our natural instinct to desire?
    Epicurus said that the desires of the flesh (eating, drinking, sex) are never really and truly fulfilled. Desires of the mind (seeking truth, beauty, peace, or justice,) may be more fulfilling even if their object is never reached.
    Buddha says desire is the road to maya (delusion) and that only by detachment can we escape endless suffering.
    Detach to WHAT? Nirvana is some chocolate bar slogan masquerading as an afterlife. So far as I am concerned, Buddha is a used car salesman, and a bad one at that! I am with Epicurus 100%.Can we be truly content ,when it is our natural instinct to desire?
    If we want it go for it.
    We can be happy, if we start being more positive and start looking at life differently. Of course it is all up to us.
    Well we have options and free will. We can learn to control ourselves.
    ...yes, change your attitude and work on it daily...good luck...
    Is common sense and natural instinct the same.....?
    or quite similar...?Is common sense and natural instinct the same.....?
    id say they're similar, but not the same...
    i think that common sense involves some degree of rational thinking and problem solving, whereas I associate natural instinct more with primal behaviors that dont require any thought process...
    interesting question =)Is common sense and natural instinct the same.....?
    Natural instinct and common sense are not the sense. Natural instinct sometimes applies to reflexes where as common sense implies the one should think.
    I would think that common sense is a learned trait..and based upon the culture/environment you grew up in
    natural instinct is..well instinct even a child who grew up with dogs has it.
    I would say no.
    Instinct is something that you do without thinking about it--it's more of a ';need.'; For example, the need to eat, to survive, to reproduce. These are things we feel no matter what and are ingrained into us.
    However, common sense is the ability to solve a problem by using past experiences or knowledge without coaching. It can almost be compared to someone's ability to learn as well. These are things you know, but you weren't BORN knowing.
    Is it our natural instinct to question or is it learnt.?
    EG do animals question and if so what%26gt;?Is it our natural instinct to question or is it learnt.?
    I would say that it is a natural ';human'; instinct to question, and to learn.
    I think some animals may be capable of questioning, reasoning and solutions, believe it or not!Is it our natural instinct to question or is it learnt.?
    I don't know about animals but it's instinct in humans. Look when a child asks 'why does...?' they still say 'but why?' when you give them an answer.
    I'm sure animals question things, probably like we do, but who knows? I think we are born curious.
    It's natural. And of course animals question, just not vocally like us. Some animals question things by sniffing them first etc.
    Exploration is in human nature. Asking questions is a mark of intelligence. It is I think what sets the human species apart from other species on Earth. By asking questions, we can know the world around us. I far as I know, other animals on Earth cannot think complex thoughts. Some animals may be able to ask themselves basic level questions such as how to get food etc.
    learnt? learned... maybe you should chime into your natural instinct.
    We have an inate propensity to using intelligence to better our selves be it environmentally, socially, emotionally or spiritually. Questioning is the byproduct of our desire to know more about ourselves and our environment in order to better our selves.
    One thing; Is ';Reaching'; or ';Grasping'; a natural instinct?
    Yes.One thing; Is ';Reaching'; or ';Grasping'; a natural instinct?
    Yes, both are found in new born infants (i.e. the stereotypical image where th baby reaches our and grabs the mother/father's finger). If you press a finger to the babys palm it will instinctively curl it's fingers round it and hold one with surprising strengh. Grabbing is less easy ebcause depth perception takes a while to develope.
    More complicated grasping, like pincher movements, develope later in life, after a few weeks/months.One thing; Is ';Reaching'; or ';Grasping'; a natural instinct?
    yes, need triggers will triggers the action of reaching/grasping.
    Need is basically lack of something in your personal sphere so reaching and grasping is a natural reaction to that since you want to bring something into your possession that will meet your need
    yup
    for sure thats what babies do from their 1st days
    Is homosexuality or lesbianism a natural instinct or its an insane condition.?
    it is not found in majority.Is homosexuality or lesbianism a natural instinct or its an insane condition.?
    More and more studies are showing that it is genetic and not something that just happens.
    http://news.yahoo.com/s/hsn/20060510/hl_鈥?/a>Is homosexuality or lesbianism a natural instinct or its an insane condition.?
    According to the most recent studies, its a genetic difference in the brain.
    Insane condition says my friends out here. Its because its a deviation from what God has created therefore unnatural.
    It is a natural instinct.
    You imply that if most people are straight then anyone who isn't must be insane. Well, I happen to be a big fan of They Might Be Giants. A majority of people are not. Does that mean that I am insane because I like them?
    I also have red hair. Most people do not have red hair. Does that mean I have a genetic abnormality because most people don't have red hair?
    There are animals that are homosexual. So it does exist in nature. I think it has to do with the way someone is raised and their personal experiences more than their nature though. But then again, how the hell should I know.
    The tone of your question is very unwelcoming.
    You are insane. Don't post a question just because you can.
    it has something to do with your sex hormones and its affinity
    What a ridiculous question.
    Insanity suggest mentally ill and whilst I can think of a number of tendencies which cause a sexual/emotional response that might be insane I am not sure that regular homosexual behaviour falls into this category.
    On the other hand I do not believe it is a natural instinct in the true sense as there is no possibility of reproduction.
    I am more interested in whether a person is fundamentally good or bad and am not quick to judge.
  • Outside of breathing, and basic body functions, what is our only natural instinct?
    Everybody always says they have natural a survival instinct, but I disagree, I think that is not an instinct, it has been taught to us. If it was, then babies when they were born could survive on their own without any help... What do you think?Outside of breathing, and basic body functions, what is our only natural instinct?
    Nursing in newborns is the only natural human instinct. The problem is the term ,instinct, has migrated from the scientific vocabulary to the speech of everyday life. We use the term in so many ways that its meaning has become vague. The same problem has occurred in scientific discourse. As a result, the term instinct has dropped out of favor. Psychologists now prefer the term fixed-action patterns, which is defined as unlearned behavior patterns that occur throughout a species and are triggered by identifiable stimuli. By the way, breathing and body functions are not instincts.Outside of breathing, and basic body functions, what is our only natural instinct?
    You're confusing instinct with ability. Babies are born with a survival instinct and it is manifest in the ways that they engage their mothers. If allowed, a baby just born placed on it's mother's belly will work its way to her breast and begin feeding. That's why babies cry when Mommy is missing. They know they need Mommy to survive.
    Oh, and I believe we also have an instinct to procreate. Even though modern society has separated in their minds sex from birth, the sex drive is all about reproduction.
    i disagree to a certain point, we all learn things tht eventually become a natural reflex, but a baby if for instance was abondoned then wud nt b able to survive but every baby crys for milk wen it is hungry tht is natural so the baby wud cry for tis mothers milk. we adapt to our surroundings but we are born with survival instincts
    survival is a natural instinct. In nature, where parents might care for their young, some will survive without a parent's care. It is however, survival of the fittest. Babies are not the fittest, they are the weakest and most vunerable.
    Fear is a natural instinct.Fight or flee responce.
    Wrong.
    Babies are born when they are because that's the latest point the human reproductive system can support them. Had we remained quadrupeds they wouldn't be popping out until about 27 months after gestation.
    We have many instincts, but they can be untaught to us. The instincts can be driven out of us by experiences. The will to survive, for example. !@#$ing, fight or flight.
    A baby anything is incapable of surviving on its own. All newborns need their mother for survival. I feel that all humans are granted the instinct to hunt fo food when hungry and to eat. Eating is an instinct to stay alive. Another is drinking and I don't mean alcohol. We are also granted the instinct to drink water or milk of any kind to stay alive.
    Do you think that fear is something that is taught by influence, or is it a natural instinct?
    Natural. Watch a little toddler sometimes. They get really scared when they see certain things like clowns or other little things. No one taught them, its just natural.Do you think that fear is something that is taught by influence, or is it a natural instinct?
    personally, i think its a bot of both. Natural fear, such as being scared of guns, deadly animals, etc i think is natural, because people don't face these situations much. I think quite a lot of fear is brought on by influence. Parents / friends / TV and movies influence fear by showing they are scared in certain situations and worried over certain things, so this makes you worried as well. Then, you get used to being scared and worried over certain things, and then at that point, you are worried.Do you think that fear is something that is taught by influence, or is it a natural instinct?
    hm, a little of both.
    Neither. Fear comes from experiences.
    A Natural Instinct...!!
    fear is a natural instinct. the same as in the animal kingdom, it's either fight or flight.
    Influence
    Fear is absence of love.
    I think there is an element of both but more likely learned.
    KA
    Does the natural instinct of fight or flight hold up in court anymore?
    live in mohave county azDoes the natural instinct of fight or flight hold up in court anymore?
    Not a legal argument. It is a psychological observation.
    Violence: a natural instinct, a barbaric instinct, or both? Is it possible it is a learned instinct? If...?
    ...violence comes naturally to a person, but he holds himself back, is he repressing his natural instincts? Is this healthy for him? Hypothetically speaking, in a world without man-made laws would said person be better off unleashing his violent tendencies or would he be better off adhering to the princuples of non-violence?
    /* In the world we live in, of course, there are legal consequences to violent actions*/Violence: a natural instinct, a barbaric instinct, or both? Is it possible it is a learned instinct? If...?
    Its a natural instinct of some that could be viewed as barbaric by another.
    If someone gets in my face I prefer settling it with my fists- I get beaten up at times but its still very liberatingViolence: a natural instinct, a barbaric instinct, or both? Is it possible it is a learned instinct? If...?
    Actually giving it a little time to think things over is the smartest choice. That's the difference between (reacting and responding).
    Responding being the smarter choice. You can still engage, but at least you have plan and a goal.
    The fact of the matter is violence is by choice. If someone strikes you then you have the choice to defend yourself or not, excluding women of course. That is a no win situation and best to run and hide.
    I think it is a random quark. Some people are violent some aren't.
    My siblings by far are more violent than me as I detest it(I feel deep emotional pain when I harm others even if my actions were justifiable).
    It is what it is. If a person is violent he or she needs therapy on how to manage that violence.
    watch the news there are murders stabbings violence every day, we are at war with Afghanistan , even the semi self proclaimed governments conduct in violence on a daily basis. fact: violence is the back bone of being human it always has and always will be.
    I think everything we do is natural under the right circumstances.
    It can be bad to hold in feelings but in the end we as a species will probably just evolve and adapt to it
    I believe we all be better without laws that what i fight off for I'm an anarchist authority gives pleasure to people to hurt another human been i would say that it's primitive violence
    Is having a free market like playing football without refs? Isn't man's natural instinct to cheat to win?
    Every time the Republicans become the dominant party they deregulate the economy, the markets get taken over by greed, corruption, and incompetence, and we get a depression.
    the Gilded Age -- Long Depression
    the 1920s -- Great Depression
    the 1980s to 2008 -- the current economic crisis
    Nicolas Sarkozy is the smartest world leader today - laissez-faire is over, the idea that the market is always right is a crazy idea.
    Regulated capitalism is still capitalism, it's not socialism. FDR showed us this. Regulating the economy was the only way to save capitalism, not from communism or facism, but from itself, in the 1930s. And some conservatives are now branding this man a socialist and a bad president! FDR salvaged capitalism and democracy from the brink of destruction in the Great Depression and World War II.Is having a free market like playing football without refs? Isn't man's natural instinct to cheat to win?
    Its not like football. There isn't 2 teams playing at any one time.
    The fact is there is consumers, and providers. If the provider fails to provide quality at the right price, value, then someone else will move to provide it to take that market.
    The fact is in a free market there is no monopoly because of this cycle. The monopoly only appears when government creates it by encapsulating it in laws and regulation, preventing competition.
    The fact is consumers in a free market have choice, and the power to make or break a business. The business must cater to the consumer to get that limited resource - their money.
    If a business 'cheats', without government there to prevent competition, then that cheating business will be replaced with one eager to point out the shortcomings of that cheating business.
    A completely free market, no government involvement, works. As soon as government gets involved, they destroy supply and demand.
    *your neighbor is selling lemonade for $1.00 a cup. You see she has big business. You find out her lemonade is cut with too much water - she is cheating. You then provide lemonade, uncut, and take her customers.Is having a free market like playing football without refs? Isn't man's natural instinct to cheat to win?
    William Seidman, the longtime GOP economic advisor who oversaw the S%26amp;L bailout in 1991, cuts to the chase: ';This administration (Reagan's) made decisions that allowed the free market to operate as a barroom brawl instead of a prize fight. To make the market work well, you have to have a lot of rules.';
    A laissez faire free market utopia is a failed ideology. A free market society is not. Regulations protect consumers and level the playing field.
    Are you really interested? Because it is the opposite. The free market won't let you get away with cheating, long term because each and every individual is policing their own interests and you will lose business. It is when governments subsidize one interest or put on huge regulatory schemes only governmental agencies can police, which in themselves hamper the individual and small business from participating effectively in the market that the market fails. And requiring the market to act in certain ways, like give loans to bad risk purchasers, or to plant or not plant certain crops, or to price fix interest rates or give 'free money or credit' to those more specially connected to officials than others, perpetuates bad decisionmaking.
    There is a decent video or a dozen on it.
    It is the 'pots' of OUR money held in a central place where we can't police it that draw special interests to government corruption like flies to ****.
    Yes and no. It's in man's best interest to serve himself. However, not even libertarians believe in letting swindlers prosper. There is a court system and those who were swindled can seek redress. A businessman's customers would never return. He would be out of business, or in jail, in short order.
    The current monetary crisis would never have occurred if there was a free market. I can assure you, If I lent someone money to buy a home, they would be able to make the payments and I would make a profit. This crisis is what happens when government interferes in the free market. In a foolish attempt to ';make housing affordable to everyone, government stuck it's nose into the business world and enacted the ';Community Reinvestment Act';
    When you make a laws affecting business, it's like squeezing a balloon. It will bulge somewhere else or it will break. Fannie and Freddie were government entities, heavily regulated and mandated to assume bad loans. This economic collapse is the result of squeezing an economic balloon too hard. In a free market economy, this obscene squandering of money would never have happened.
    Interesting..... but staying with your premise.....
    IF there were no ';rules';... wouldn't it REQUIRE INGENUITY to try to oppose the other ';team'; and be prepared for WHATEVER tactic they come up with?
    Hence... the creation of some of the greatest inventions and manufacturing processes the world has ever seen.
    I LIKE the free market..... I like the lifestyle and CHOICES we all have as a result of it.
    A completely free market? Yes.
    But as the government gets involved, it's more like having refs that are paid off by the mafia. No matter how talented you are, or how well you play, you get screwed over by the people who have control over you due to people who have more money than you.
    Exactly, however people who cheat only do so, when they feel they won't be caught for their actions.
    However, if they feel there is a chance they can get caught, they will not participate or will go through a third party, that way if the person is caught, it wasn't them.
    Agreed. Only a few, maybe the late Sister Teresa, would qualify for your trust in this free market bs. Follow the money to -- Slick Willy. He still has his finger in the pie. Damn it. The man does not cast a shadow and is smart as the devil.
    Good point.
    Greenspan, during his reign never factored in the greed of people, regardless of what they can afford. If he had, maybe so much of the economical mess could have been prevented!
    Good analogy. Some would put us back in the days when it was the Levitttown Robber Barons vs. the Tenement Row Wageslaves. The Wageslaves didn't even stand a chance of covering the 110 point spread.
    There has never been in written history any kind of game without refs.
    A free market has refs: us. ';Buyer beware'; has always been a cornerstone of the free market.
    Sorry, you lose.
    It should be clear to even the most laissez-faire leaning amongst us that the invisible hand does nothing but b*tchslap us.
    Nailed it. good question.
    I wouldn't say natural instinct, more like an adapted one
    nah, its the republican's natural instinct to cheat to win.
    Exactly. The free market causes so many problems.
    That's one hell of a way to test your mettle wouldn't that be exhilarating?
    Good question
    nope it is more like paying the ref(aka congress) to look the other way!
    Is it a natural instinct to become addicted to porn?
    People at first are like eewww, then its like hhmmm, after a while its like why in the hell is that chick with that guy, im a lot better looking lol. Seriously thoughIs it a natural instinct to become addicted to porn?
    All things in moderation or they become unhealthy. Food is great but it will make you fat if you eat too much. A couple drinks socially is fine but too much too often makes you an alcoholic and rots your organs. Too much porn will mean spending time that lets face it could be spent on far more productive things and will have a negative impact on the far more important real life relationships.Is it a natural instinct to become addicted to porn?
    Yes, anything that's naughty and taboo is something we can become addicted to; it's the nature of the beast. I was stationed in Europe for four years; public billboards were often covered with a naked woman; I went to a spa where everyone was nude; there was no problem there with porn, rape, anything of the sort. Because it wasnt' taboo.
    Maybe for the juvenile.
    Adults usually grow out of this.
    Speaking for myself, I haven't and wouldn't waste my time in those pathetic joints.
    And porn sucks, big time! Literally! And it's full of a$$h0les.
    Addiction is not natural, it is addiction.
    I have seen porn too, but, getting it as a hobby...no, i prefer real stuff.
    No, porn should be used sparingly I believe. All things are lawful for you but you don't want to become bound. I personally hate porn.
    yeah its natural
    probably not
    can u teach ur kids to not sit on there but and like make them sit some other wayIs it a natural instinct to sit on ur but or are u taught to do that?
    It's not so much instinct as it is our physical design. It's easiest to eat while our body is in an upright position (try eating while lying on your back) and it's also the easiest way to keep our body in an upright position while exerting little energy, as well as the most comfortable (our rear ends provide some cushion).Is it a natural instinct to sit on ur but or are u taught to do that?
    yes, it's natural. our ancestors did it, our parents did it, we do it our selves.
    but, in japan, they sit on a pillow, shins on the pillow, legs together, they call it 'sezia' . but, it'll hurt if u r not used 2 it.
    that's an interesting question because I see people from other societies squatting a lot. We don't squat lot in our society, but people in other societies do. I don't know how often they sit though.
    there is no other way... it's the most comfortable position lol
    where the hell else are you gonna sit on? your face?!
    Learned behavior or natural instinct?
    A couple walking down the street see a dog being beaten, the woman immediately throws her arms around the dog while the man chases the abuser, with intent to harm.
    While the woman automatically starts to ';nurture and console';, the man went into the ';protect and defend'; mode.
    Learned behavior or natural instinct?Learned behavior or natural instinct?
    I don't have anything to be sure beside general facts,but, I would say natural instinct.
    When a man sees his ';mate'; (if were speaking in mammalistic terms) nurturing as she would an offspring it might send something to the brain saying its threatening him and his ';territory';.
    Or the natural hormones play an effect.
    Testosterone pumps when strong feelings occur so it being the more aggrasive ';take action'; hormone ,your brain interprets and runs after it.While the estrogen being the emotional one ,you feel like you should empathize with the dog.Learned behavior or natural instinct?
    natural instincts
    I ';think';, mind you this is my opinion, it is a little of both. First, women with good mothering skill most times had mothers with the same skills so learned accordingly. Second, same goes for men with good family oriented father who often protected there family from harm learned that behavior as well. That being said natural instinct with anyone going through that I think would be to protect and nurture the animal. but, not sure if it would be a natural reaction for the way it played out for the waman to always go to the dog and the man to run after the abuser because what if the abuser was a woman the man might inherently take care of the dog and the woman would have to deal with the abuser. So I believe we as humans have the capacity to learn and instinctually know things to help in certain situations.
    I think it is natural instinct because women tend to be more caring then men and men tend to be more protective and tuff.
    Learned behavior.
    When People commit suicide how do they get past the natural born instinct to survive...?
    and the fear of what lies beyond this world.When People commit suicide how do they get past the natural born instinct to survive...?
    The natural instinct might be there when the method is hanging, however with a gunshot, once the trigger is pulled and the aim was true, it is over with. Sadly once a course of action is taken, people could not stop it even when they want to. The fear of what lies beyond is overridden by the despair of today.
    No situation is so bad that someone should ever consider suicide. Situations change and to take this type of permanent action is selfish. I've known two people who committed suicide - both were in temporary situations that would have changed. One left a wife and 8 yr old son, the other was 16 and left a mother and father. There is no ';glory'; in being known as a person who committed suicide, just tradegy.When People commit suicide how do they get past the natural born instinct to survive...?
    I'm sure it's difficult. Many don't fear what's beyond this world (72 virgins, yay!). Some are psychologically or physically ill. Some think that their death will leave more of a legacy than their life....and that's what life is all about...leaving a legacy.
    Unfortunately I have been there and thank God I got past it. I tried to kill myself by taking a ton of pills. I took them outside my place of work. After I took the pills i was in a state of mind that I do not remember bit I went inside the building to tell my best friend what I did. Thank goodness I did because soon after I got there I went into cardiac arrest and the paramedics brought me back. I was in a coma for 4 days. I got to the point that that instinct wasn't there anymore. The pain and hurt were so great knowing that the other side can't be any worse than this. I remember not thinking about family and friends because I knew that me being this way was more of a problem. I learned otherwise through some counseling and learning how to deal with my depression. I know am married and have an 8 month old son. I love life but still have the down days. It is a challenge but it is worth it. Help is the only way that got me out of the trash thinking that I was doing to myself.
    I don't think they have to. There's another natural instinct involved. When a person is inactive for long periods of time, their body sends physiological messages to the brain, and depression results. If you can't move around, get depressed so you won't. This is a strong enough instinct to rival the will to survive.
    Often they don't and their suicide attempt fails. I know one woman who is worse off now -- she cut her wrists and her throat and lay bleeding until someone found her eight hours later! Now she has to have multiple surgeries and can't work anymore, so she's in worse shape now. Sometimes other people just end up in nursing homes, drooling, because their will to live was stronger than their suicide attempt.
    Very simple, they give up the will power in all sense of the word.
    I think they're mind snaps. My grandpa committed suicide and before hand he was so proud of being 91 and would ask people to guess how old he was. He was in great health, walked and rode a bicycle every day and had no medical problems except being a little hard of hearing. One day, he just killed himself.
    that probably kicks in when its too late!!!!
    I think drugs and depression mostly. Watched some jump off the Golden gate and I wonder if they change their mind after stepping off when theres no turning back. Gave one a 10 for form though (sic humor)
    People can get so worn down, that the only way to escape their pain is by ending it all.
    i believe the natural born instinct you speak of is easily overcome. there are many natural born instincts which many people overcome like overeating, doing drugs, learning, etc.
    I don't think they fear what lies beyond this world, as you said it. I think they are in such pain in this world that it would seem that anything but living would solve all their problems.
    The survival instinct is trumped by depression. They just want to end the pain and surviving means confronting the pain.
    Side note: The survival instinct is stronger in women. Even though women are devalued in society, women have more attempts but less success at committing suicide. This may have something to do with the procreative and or maternal instinct some women have. Many women also see suicide as a selfish act and being selfish is a very ';unfemimine'; trait. Women worry about families/friends and how this act will effect them. Many women make less lethal attempts at suicide, pills inaccurate and shallow cuts of the wrists etc. Men tend to use guns and ropes. In addition men are more focused on themselves and their pain and tend to be selfish and not worry about how their suicide may affect their families/friends etc.
    Feeling that death would be better than the ';painful'; lives they live
    I agree with Earth_Win,nothing else matters. If you've gone that far into depression, then you've prepared yourself.
    we can all learn to ignore/control our instincts.
    although instincts are powerful humans and other mammals are driven by emotion more than instinct.
    once one's emotions become powerful enough and bad enough ending their lives seems like the best option.. this is also why their fears can be ignored.
    when it comes to suicide its not just depression it's a lack of hope, ambition, will, and caring about living.
    (off topic, but going along wit hthe emotion over instinct dolphins will starve themselves to death is their partner dies first, despite their instinc to survive. I've personally never heard of a primate suicide, during depression chimps and gorillas have similair symptoms like people.)
    When you're feeling suicidal its the depression that is thinking for you.Depression is a chemical in balance in your brain,you want relieve from all the emotional pain you're experiencing.That's the reason many are successful when they attempt suicide.
    But all to often you see the militant flyer's posted up ...'Islam will conquer the World', the perpetrators of 9-11 are most certainly revered.
    They expect us to bow to their every demand, I've even had attempts to get rid of my dog.
    I could talk for hours, but I'd only get in trouble long before I did.
    But I tell you what, I resent this invasion and fear what the future holds.Is racial prejudice a natural instinct?
    When babies develop, they do not see differences or distinctions between them and others. Look at how babies relate to other people. At this very young age, they are very curious and trusting. You will not likely see a baby crawl away from someone of another race or ethnicity.
    The same goes for most small children. They are much less judgmental than adults and are normally more open-minded until a parent or other authority figure tells that child otherwise.
    In learning racism, it could be from either a sense of superiority or from a feeling of defensiveness.
    In the first case, racists teach their children that they are better than everyone else. They raise their offspring to look down on other races and to avoid them.
    In the second case, it is often minorities that have a sense of resentment toward the majority group that instill defensive racism. They believe that they are helping their children by breeding a distrust in their children. Much like racial superiority, defensive racism relies on stereotypes. In this case, the minority group assumes that all people in the majority are bad people.
    In a nutshell, racism is not a natral instinct.
    I don't think prejudice of any kind is natural instinct. If indeed Asians do dislike 'white folk' it's probably because they've come across quite a few racist 'white folk' and have therefore stereotyped them all to be the same.
    In simple terms, if your accusations are accurate (which I actually doubt) then Asian folk probably hate white folk because they think the white folk hate them.
    'An eye for an eye only makes the whole world blind'
    No, I don't think so. I am a white, English, and I guess, might be classified as middle class. I have never held a racial prejudice. My view is, and always has been, that people are people. I have sometimes thought that the most racist people are those who accuse others of racisism. Your example of Asian vs white folk may, or may not be an example.
    My personal opinion is/ there is a reason for different colored people. I don't think it is for us to create different races out of mixing these. For instance, if you really look at africans without any prejudice and compare them to apes you must agree that most resemble the apes quite well. There must be some truth to human evolution and descendants from the animal kingdom. I also think that we are inherently different from each other and other continents. It is I feel a natural wish to stay with the tribe. It is not a good thing to breed outside of it. We are messing with the natural order of things when we do this. Society is really missing the mark here........
    I think I know what you mean. I am only in the Uk for a bit and have seen them in their ghettos. They move to the UK because they don't like it where they come from, but then bring what they don't like with them and expect the locals to conform to it.
    How insane is that. If you move somewhere because it is nicer, it is madness to then live the way they hated. I don't get them at all. Or do they think they could convert the locals to their beliefs, which is very naive considering religion has just about died the death in the UK.
    Practicing Shaman... quantum physics rocks.
    I've just been reading about the discovery of a Neanderthal skeleton with a wound from a Cro-magnon spear in its back. Seems racism goes back a long, long way! But I don't think it is instinctive. Children of different races can get on fine until they are taught to hate.
    It is completely natural. We are animals, just like all other species of animals. We obviously have more capacity to reason and try to control our behaviours but in the long run tribalism will out.
    I live in the UK and I have never experienced of any hatred directed at me from any Asians. In fact, I've never even heard of it.
    i think we are brought up to notice a difference. i was brought up in a mixed community and although everyone got on ppl would still look down on others who were not of the same race!
    Racial prejudice is only mental but not instinctive
    Yeah it is. Cave people used to slaughter lots of other cave people. Sticking to the ones who you trust was a good policy.
    I'm in china and feeling it for the first time.
    I really have no answer other then it's built in culturally.
    it is taught by parents and peers at a young, impressionable age...
    Racism isnt born, it's bred
    Yes and no.
