Is it a natural instinct of dogs to know when something is the matter w/ the owner?

i was watching a little ';documentary'; (i dont know what else to call it) about dogs that ';saved'; their owners. for example a woman ended up having a heart attack while all the while the dog was like whining and sticking close to her before she had her stroke...


is that a natural instinct for dogs or other animals to have?

Nope it's not natural instinct.. Some dogs seem to be able to sense things.. Most can't. In fact most people don't know their dog well enough to know if he was trying to tell them something anyhow.Is it a natural instinct of dogs to know when something is the matter w/ the owner?
Yes, dogs are very intuitive. They know by smell, and by psychic powers, if people are sick, evil, happy, preditory, have cancer, have high or low blood sugar, are about to have heart attacks or epilepsy, are mean, are loving, and many other things we can't tell just by being close to someone.





If the dog will tell you , what it knows , depends on if it loves you and wants to save you, or thinks that it's job is to take care of you, or if it's trained to alert people to such things as medical problems.





Animals know a lot more than people give them credit for.
I believe they do.





Some people say dogs can't feel emotions like people can but this is untrue. When you're sad you're dog will come over to comfort you and try to cheer you up. Many dogs save people they can sense things better then we can and they can smell it too. They're trying to teach dogs to smell cancer on people. Some dogs have even dialed 911 to save their owners. Some dogs even know when a person is about to have a seizure.
animals are allot smarter than most people think.i had a cat that didn't like a guy i was dating.when he was over she would look at him then run out of the room. a few dates later i realized he was not a nice person.i said bye. when my daughter was younger i noticed the dog we had kept following her around.when she laid down the dog was right by her side.she said her throat hurt, i looked.her throat was closing, rushed her to hospital. she was allergic to her medicine.she was home in a few days.
Yes dogs always feel the owners feelings like if your stressed then you might notice your Dog acting a little strange that's because the dog is stressed too.
