Natural Instincts is Semi-Permanent and Herbal Essences is Permanent. So, the semi lasts only 8-12 shampoos (depending upon your hair's porosity). The Permanent haircolor will permanently alter your natural color and will not wash out.





If you haven't tried color before, go with Natural Instincts first. If you love it and want it to last longer, after you have tried semi, then you can switch to the permanent color.
