As humans, is our only true natural instinct to wage war????

well....? it seems so.....care to elaborate.........????As humans, is our only true natural instinct to wage war????
yes we are an aggressive species. In the days before laws and developed countries only the strongest and the fittest survived. As humans, is our only true natural instinct to wage war????
Yes, I think so. Tons of other species including primates do use war and battles to settle their problems. Until we learn from our mistakes and think above instinct, there will never be peace.

A specie can be both violent and a lover. Look at Bonobo Chimps. They are the horniest creatures ever, closest relative to humans (which means they have many of the same emotional needs), and they can still be very violent.
yea, it makes sense to just wage war all the time. That's the only natural instinct i have

just ignore that entire instinct of wanting to have sex like 7 times a day

and the instinct to take a dump

and the instinct to eat and drink

yea, that's my only true natural instinct. Of course waging war is a natural instinct, whether it be with ourselves, or someone else, or even something that doesn't exist. That's what keeps the human race on top. Our constant competition. Look at any war, and you will see that many technological advancements come from war. Usually these advancements are for militarily purposes, but such things as the internet, can be put into commercial use.

War is not an instinct, its a solution to one of our instincts
no, it's actually to share love

i know that sounds wrong and strange because looking around the world today, there is everything but love

but if you come to think of it on a small scale you would

understand what i mean. when you are walking down the street and ytou bump into someone, on a normal day your first instincts are to appologise. you might call this politeness, however what brings on the urge to appologise to this stranger you have never seen and most like would never see, is love.
hey hey sha la la hey hey sha la la....who's gonna ride you're wild horses? who's gonna drown in your blue sea?

anyways.

no.

our natural instincts are:

eat, sleep, fight-or-flight, breathe, procreate, and the like.

.....

think of animals. are they raging war?? no. are they fighting for territory? yes. all the time. that's what we're doing sometimes. other times it's fighting for ideals. which animals can't really do...haha
If you consider how may people there are in the world then the level of conflict is pretty low. Everybody is different One instinct we have is for survival war could be a side effect however this is not true for all.
Well, I'm reading Lord of the Flies at the moment, so yeah it does. But generally, I've never felt a need to declare a war on another country, it must just be the boys in power that like to do that!
i do care to elaborate... its not our only natural instinct... our only natural instinct is to reproduce... so they can wage war... and ... ... ... reproduce... ... and so on and so on
no. we humans mostly like makin bakin.we make war because some other ahole wants to put his meat inyour frying pan.why is a woman like a frying pan? because you gotta get her hot before you stick the meat in!!
No,human nature is essentially the opposite. It is the conditions we find ourselves in which bring about wars, whereby we are mistaken into feeling fear and that there is no choice.there is always choice
no, war isn't an instinct, fighting is, (fight or flight, pretty much our only instinct) but not tactical warfare...
WAR is big business in some countries like the USA .Where do your think their economy would be if the world was at peace.
it appears that way..people are so worried I think, survival of the fittest and all that..
No,I really enjoy peace and quiet actually :-)
Nope I enjoy it being nice and peacefull
no
not all of ours!
